Education is the most basic entity that a human must be entitled to.education is a process of learning, developing and transforming oneself into a better civilised person.there are various stages of education, starting from primary, reaching secondary and finally ending at higher.though education is a never ending process since it involves learning.

coming to education in India, first thing that comes in mind is that there are many out there who never get any kind of education.such is the condition of this country that people are unable to receive  this basic entity.though there has been a lot of policies made by various govts and a large part of budget is being invested in this, the problem still continues and is one of the major challenges that India presently face.the quality of education that students receive here is very much low when compared to rest of the world.except few institutes, there r none which qualify as a world class education spot.the scope here is very much limited,as a result students here go to abroad in order to pursue their higher education.the education system here emphasises more on theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge.students are never exposed to real life situations,as a result our students are unable to compete at professional level globally.in most of the institutes its all about getting good scores and they groom students for this right from the start.students are not encouraged to do projects which will enable them to come up with some new innovations.right from primary education, total focus is on the marks secured which literally kills the thinking capacity of the student.as a result the mind never fosters but develops how to retain memory.rote learning is one of the major root cause for such quality of education here.exams are also designed in such a way that it tests the memory of the brain, rather than the skills of the brain.this carries on and a stage is reached where the students realise that they are not up to the mark or they do not possess the quality that is required in that particular profession.education here is confined to a congested environment.in most of the institutes learning is restricted to just a room.as a result students loath to interact socially which only degrades their personality.so the confidence dies there itself;as a result there is absolutely no desire to come up with something new.

but who is responsible for such kind of situation?no doubt entire system is rotten!first, the quality of teachers are not up to the mark,as it could be easily understood since they too had their education from the same system.so unless the education system is put on right path, the quality will remain the same.the task and responsibility of developing and improving system lies at the hands of politicians and the institutes administration.but the problem is,the people who are in charge of this, have absolutely no sense of how the system works and what are the flaws present in it.in India, education has become a business where without money it is really difficult to get good quality of education.corruption is a big part of this system and most of the merit is killed because of this particular reason.these people are so busy making money that they have no time to think and are unaware of the fact that thousands of careers are put at stake because of there lust for luxury and money.which takes us to the next step, that is we need to vote responsibly and make sure right people occupy the important positions.individuals who hear the people, have good social work background, well educated and the one who truly understands the precarious situation in which our system presently exists.the college and school administration needs to come out of their comfort zone and start practicing education which is more practical oriented.all kinds of ex poser needs to be given to the students.

An overhaul of the system is needed,a new mechanism has to be put in place,a new program has to be installed to this system.changes cannot come overnight, but insidiously it has to happen.there is a lot to learn from other countries and we need to take one step at a time in order to have a system that matches entire world.
